What is a Linked Address?
-
A linked address, or Address Link, is an entry created by companies and held by the credit reference agencies to show a connection between two addresses.
Address links usually show previous addresses but they do not have to be addresses you have lived at. The address could be somewhere you have had goods delivered or mail redirected to like a work place or relatives address.
The date shown on address links are just when the entry was created, and has nothing to do with the dates you lived there.
